xemu is a free and open-source application that emulates the original
Microsoft Xbox game console, enabling people to play their original
Xbox games cross-platform.

It is a fork of the XQEMU project, itself built on QEMU's full-system
emulation, with a focus on usability and performance.

Supports:
- Low-Level Emulation for superior compatibility with kernels, titles,
  and homebrew applications.
- Snapshots for saving machine states and loading them at any time.
- Network connectivity to other xemu instances and real Xboxes, both
locally and over the Internet. Supports tunneling services and Xbox
  Live recreation projects.
- Controller support via SDL3. Connect up to 4 controllers at any time,
  just like a real Xbox.
- Render Scaling support by increasing the resolution that games render
at, on the fly. Scale up from 480p to 1080p at the click of a button.

A BIOS/MCPX boot ROM dump and an EEPROM/HDD image from an original
Xbox console are required to run games and are not included.
