This old Toreador antitribu {{ toreador_antitribu }} archetype is named after its signature master: {{ palla_grande }} gives every Toreador antitribu {{ toreador_antitribu }} +1 bleed. The deck spends most of the game as a {{ wall }}, blocking and bouncing with {{ AUS }}, then flips the switch for a couple of decisive bleed turns.
The crypt is a spread of cheap Sabbat vampires, capacities 2 to 6, almost all with {{ AUS }}. {{ jost_werner }} (+1 stealth) and {{ sheila_mezarin }} (+1 bleed) top the curve, and the {{ anarch_convert }} thin the crypt so the deck can field three or four minions quickly.
Nearly half the library is reactions: {{ eyes_of_argus }} provide wakes and intercept, {{ eagles_sight }} allow blocks anywhere on the table, and {{ telepathic_misdirection }} plus {{ my_enemys_enemy }} {{ bounce }} whatever the predator sends. {{ delaying_tactics }} check votes.
Blocks are punished with guns: {{ concealed_weapon }} flashes a {{ magnum }} or the {{ sniper_rifle }}, and {{ target_vitals }} turns a 2-damage shot into 4 — enough to seriously damage or deter most opponents.
{{ art_scam }} and {{ vessel }} keep the pool up while {{ the_rack }} refills the main blocker, and {{ the_embrace }} add extra bodies. Since Embraces made by Toreador antitribu {{ toreador_antitribu }} are Toreador antitribu {{ toreador_antitribu }} themselves, each of them bleeds for 2 during a {{ palla_grande }} turn, with {{ sheila_mezarin }} bleeding for 3 on her own. {{ smiling_jack }} grinds the table in the meantime.
{{ palla_grande }} is a timer, not {{ bloat }}: it is unique and short-lived, so hold it until the {{ lunge }} is ready. Clear the way first — {{ pentex_subversion }} on the prey's best blocker and the {{ anarch_troublemaker }} locks do wonders, since the bleeds themselves have no stealth. {{ heart_of_nizchetus }} helps set up the burst, digging for bleed or reactions as the situation demands.
The {{ anarch_convert }} are there for crypt filtering and a point of pool, but converting strips the Sabbat trait: pick the new Anarch with care, as both {{ abbot }} and {{ powerbase_barranquilla }} require Sabbat vampires.
A blocking {{ sniper_rifle }} bearer can set the first round to long range, where most minions cannot strike back. Keep the {{ bowl_of_convergence }} on the main blocker, and use {{ eagles_sight }} to police the whole table: protecting {{ smiling_jack }} cross-table, or intercepting a key action for an ally, buys the deck the time it needs.
Patience is the name of the game. Minions should not be wasted on speculative bleeds that invite blocks: the deck ousts in bursts, one {{ palla_grande }} at a time.
The Exhibit variant is the classic breed & boon take the archetype is historically famous for. {{ valdemirs_deck }} plays 12 {{ embraces }} and 8 {{ art_scam }}, with {{ foundation_exhibit }} granting each non-titled Toreador antitribu {{ toreador_antitribu }} +1 vote to pass {{ consanguineous_boon }} for massive bloat and {{ kine_resources_contested }} for the kill. Defense is {{ majesty }} and {{ change_of_target }} instead of intercept, and 4 {{ palla_grande }} remain the finisher — the swarm of 1-capacity bleeders makes them devastating.
{{ remis_deck }} sits between the two builds: the same {{ eyes_of_argus }} and {{ telepathic_misdirection }} reaction core and concealed {{ magnum }}, but it applies steady pressure all game long with 8 {{ enchant_kindred }} instead of saving everything for the burst.
Finally, the archetype shares blood with {{ rebekka_jost }}: {{ jost_werner }}, {{ sheila_mezarin }} and half the crypt here anchor that archetype too, and intermediate builds have been played over the years.
