Apache-2.0 grants you every right to use, modify, fork and redistribute this software,
including commercially. It grants no right to the "OpenFactory" name, logo or marks.

That split is deliberate and it is the whole protection strategy. A
restrictive licence would buy protection against a problem this project does not have —
a hyperscaler reselling it — at the cost of the adoption it is trying to buy. What is
worth defending is the mark, and the mark is only worth defending because the conformance
suite gives it meaning.

So: anyone may fork. Only builds that pass the published conformance suite
(`openfactory conformance`, `openfactory conformance-adapter`) may be called OpenFactory.
That is the Kubernetes mechanism — permissive licence, defended mark, conformance as the
gate.
