Iteration 74 โ€” the Cousins Split H-038 KILLED BY SIBLING (#18) ยท H-075 M3 CLEAR ยท FINALE NEXT

In plain words: the predicted double execution did not happen โ€” and the miss is the interesting part. Both remaining distance cousins were expected to be echoes of certificate #13 (the way the gambler was, at 98.2%). Measured across all 130 features, NEITHER is: energy tracks it at 92.1% and transport at 90.8%, both under the kill bar โ€” different distance geometries genuinely rank features differently than the kernel embedding, whereas a different WRAPPER around the same kernel did not. But the two cousins turned out to be echoes of EACH OTHER (97.8%), and the rule written before the run decided the tie: the sibling less similar to the existing certificate advances. So the energy meter โ€” whose exam was flawless โ€” dies an honorable death as a duplicate of its own cousin, and the transport meter (which weights tail mass by how far it must move, and also passed its folded-in exam with the derived exactness holding again) goes to the final held-out test. One instrument per geometry: that is what the stack buys. The survivor's math was double-checked against an independent library: exact agreement.

Family lesson sharpened: same-witness wrappers echo (betting 0.982, killed); different geometries do not (0.921/0.908, cleared) โ€” but geometries within the distance family echo each other (0.978). The stack buys one instrument per genuinely different measurement geometry, no more.
