PyChannels Custom License

Copyright (c) 2026 GRAND

1. Permission to Use

Permission is granted to use PyChannels, in whole or in part, in personal,
educational, non-commercial, and commercial projects without requiring credit
to the original author, provided that the conditions below are followed.

2. Commercial Use

PyChannels may be included in commercial software and commercial projects
without requiring attribution to the original author.

3. Ownership and Claiming

You may not claim PyChannels, its original source code, or the original work
as your own.

You may not misrepresent the original PyChannels package or its original
source code as having been created by you or another party.

4. Republishing

You may not republish, redistribute, or release PyChannels itself, substantially
unchanged, under another name or as your own package.

You may, however, build upon, modify, extend, or incorporate PyChannels into
another project.

5. Derivative Works

You may modify, extend, or build upon the PyChannels source code.

If you distribute a work that contains or is substantially based on
PyChannels source code, you MUST give clear credit to PyChannels and GRAND
as the original author.

This requirement does not apply to software that merely uses PyChannels
as an external dependency or library.

For example, a commercial application that imports and uses PyChannels
does not require attribution. A modified version of PyChannels or a project
whose code is substantially based on PyChannels does require attribution.

6. No Warranty

PyChannels is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or
implied. The author shall not be held liable for any damages, claims, or
other liability arising from the use of the software.

7. Acceptance

By using, modifying, incorporating, or distributing PyChannels, you agree to
the terms of this license.
