THE RESOURCE REGISTRY IS NOT WARRANTED, AND IT IS NOT OURS

A profile may declare a resource registry: helplines, reporting routes,
safeguarding contacts, and the wording a learner is shown alongside them. The
gates check that an item citing such a resource cites it exactly as the
registry states it, and nothing more. That check is a consistency check, not a
verification.

Accordingly:

  1. The registry's contents are supplied and owned by the organisation that
declares them. They are that organisation's content, not Owhile's, and
nothing here transfers any right in them.

  2. Owhile does not verify, endorse, monitor or keep current any number,
address, URL, opening hours or referral route in a registry, and makes no
representation that any of them is correct, reachable, or appropriate to
the person who is shown it.

  3. A resource passing the gates means it matches what was declared. It does
not mean it is right. Responsibility for a helpline being correct and
current rests with the organisation that declares it and the accountable
     person it names.

This is stated because the failure it guards against is not a licensing one. A
wrong number that gates clean reaches a person who needed the right one.
