**agent-sentry catches every failure, classifies why it happened, and alerts you in real time.**

## The Problem

You deployed an agent. It runs 10,000 tool calls a day. Some of them fail. You don't know which ones, you don't know why, and you definitely don't know how often.

Traditional monitoring tools don't understand agents. They see HTTP 200s and think everything is fine. But your agent just hallucinated a fake API endpoint, retried it 5 times, burned $2 in tokens, and returned garbage to the user.

All data stays local. SQLite with WAL mode for concurrent reads. Thread-safe by default. No external services required.

## Root Cause Categories

## Philosophy

Your agent is going to production whether it's ready or not.

Most agent frameworks focus on making agents smarter. That's great. But nobody focuses on what happens when they fail. And they will fail.

agent-sentry doesn't make your agent smarter. It makes you smarter about your agent. You get visibility into every call, every failure, every dollar spent. So when something breaks at 3 AM, you know exactly what happened and why.

Think of it like Sentry, but for AI agents. Because your agent deserves the same observability as your web app.
