# JustKymo

Desktop app for drawing one or two lines on a user-provided kymograph and exporting a dense XY table (linear interpolation along each polyline) plus an overlay image.

## Install

```bash
conda create -n justkymo python=3.12 -y
conda activate justkymo
pip install justkymo
```

## Start

```bash
justkymo
```

or:

```bash
python -m justkymo
```

## How to use

1. Drag-and-drop one or more kymograph `.tif` / `.tiff` files (or use **Open**).
2. Select a file in the list. JustKymo creates `JustKymo-<filename>/` next to it and restores any saved session.
3. **1st line** is active by default (red). Click to draw (≥2 points). Scroll to zoom; use the brightness slider as needed.
4. Switch to **2nd line** (blue) to draw an optional second polyline. Both lines stay visible; click **1st line** / **2nd line** to switch which one you edit.
5. **Export** writes `line.csv` and `overlay.png` into that sample folder.
   - `line.csv`: `x_px` covers the full span from the earliest to latest line point; `y1_px` / `y2_px` are filled only where that line runs (linear interpolation along straight segments).

Session points are saved automatically so you can switch files and come back.
