name: Anything other than a blank line spends the directive
why: The directive applies to the next block, not to the next paragraph however far away it is. A heading in between spends it and the paragraph unwraps. The alternative -- letting it stay armed until some later paragraph -- makes a stray directive act at a distance, where a spent one merely does nothing and is visible as such.
