Protein Structure Analysis
How to Get Protein Structures for Prediction
- RCSB Protein Data Bank (PDB): Visit rcsb.org and search for proteins by name or PDB ID (e.g., "1UBQ" for ubiquitin)
- Download Format: Download structures in PDB format (.pdb files)
- AlphaFold Database: Access predicted structures at alphafold.ebi.ac.uk
- Example Downloads: Try the example proteins below or search for your protein of interest
- File Requirements: Upload PDB files containing 3D protein coordinates
Try Example Proteins
Ubiquitin (1UBQ)
Small regulatory protein, 76 residues. Great for testing the model's accuracy.
Insulin (1ZNI)
Hormone protein, ~51 residues. Important metabolic regulator.
Lysozyme (1AKI)
Antimicrobial enzyme, ~129 residues. Larger protein for testing.
