# veil402

Private x402 payments for AI agents.

## Installation

```bash
pip install veil402
```

## Quick Start

```python
import os
from veil402 import Veil402
client = Veil402(credential=os.environ["VEIL402_CREDENTIAL"])
# Works like httpx — but handles 402 payment flows automatically
response = client.get("https://api.merchant.com/market-data")
data = response.json()
```

## Async Usage

```python
from veil402 import AsyncVeil402
async def main():
    client = AsyncVeil402(credential=os.environ["VEIL402_CREDENTIAL"])
    response = await client.get("https://api.merchant.com/market-data")
    data = response.json()
```

## How It Works

1. Your agent makes a request to a merchant API
2. If the merchant returns `402 Payment Required`, the SDK intercepts it
3. Veil402 authorizes the payment through your policy engine
4. The request is retried with a payment signature
5. Your agent gets the data — the merchant never sees who paid
