PRAXSUITE OPEN SDK LICENCE v1.0
Source-available. Free to use and extend. Not free to resell.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PLAIN-LANGUAGE SUMMARY (not the licence - the terms below govern)

  You MAY:
    - use this SDK, free of charge, in any application or game you build,
including one you sell, as long as it connects to Praxsuite
    - read, modify and fork the source
    - publish your fork or your changes
    - build and share extensions, wrappers and integrations

  You MAY NOT:
    - sell, license or host this software itself as a product or service
    - use it to build a competing backend platform, or to connect to one
    - remove the attribution

In short: build whatever you like on top of Praxsuite. Do not repackage this
work as someone else's product, and do not use it to power a competitor.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. DEFINITIONS

"Software" means this SDK: its source, documentation and any build artifact
   produced from it.

"Praxsuite Platform" means the hosted or licensed Praxsuite service operated
or authorised by Tesseract Softwares SpA.

"Your Application" means software you develop that uses the Software to
communicate with the Praxsuite Platform - a web service, a desktop app, a
   game, or any other program.

"Competing Service" means any product or service that provides
   backend-as-a-service, database-as-a-service, application-platform or similar
functionality substantially equivalent to the Praxsuite Platform, whether
offered commercially or free of charge.

2. GRANT

Subject to the restrictions in section 3, Tesseract Softwares SpA grants you
   a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to:

   (a) use, copy and run the Software;
   (b) modify the Software and create derivative works of it;
   (c) distribute the Software and your modifications, in source or compiled
       form, provided section 4 is met;
   (d) include the Software, in source or compiled form, within Your
Application and distribute or sell Your Application.

Clause (d) is deliberate and unconditional as to price: you may charge for
Your Application, run it commercially, and keep all revenue. This licence
restricts what may be done with the Software itself, never what you charge
for the product you build with it.

3. RESTRICTIONS

3.1 No resale of the Software. You may not sell, rent, sublicense or
otherwise commercialise the Software as such - whether standalone, as a
component offered separately, as a paid SDK, library, template, plugin or
asset, or as a hosted or managed service whose value is the Software
       itself.

3.2 No competing use. You may not use, modify or distribute the Software, or
any derivative of it, to build, operate, market or support a Competing
Service, nor adapt it to communicate with one.

3.3 No attribution removal. You may not remove or obscure the copyright
notices, this licence, or the attribution required by section 4.

3.4 No trademark rights. This licence grants no rights in the names, logos or
trademarks of Tesseract Softwares SpA or Praxsuite, beyond the factual
       attribution section 4 requires.

4. ATTRIBUTION

4.1 Any distribution of the Software or a derivative of it, in source or
compiled form, must retain this licence file and the copyright notice.

4.2 A derivative work that you publish must state, in its README or
equivalent primary documentation, that it is derived from the Praxsuite
SDK, and must link to https://praxsuite.com.

4.3 Your Application does not need to display attribution to end users.
Shipping the Software inside an application is not "distribution of the
Software" for the purposes of 4.2.

5. CONTRIBUTIONS

Contributions submitted to the official repository are licensed to Tesseract
Softwares SpA under the same terms, and you confirm you have the right to
submit them. You keep the copyright in what you wrote.

6. TERMINATION

This licence terminates automatically if you breach section 3. On
termination, stop using and distributing the Software. Applications you
already distributed to end users before termination may continue to be used
   by those end users.

7. NO WARRANTY

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

IN NO EVENT SHALL TESSERACT SOFTWARES SPA BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES
OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE,
ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR ITS USE.

9. GOVERNING LAW

This licence is governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute
shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Santiago,
   Chile.

NOTE ON OSI TERMINOLOGY

This licence is source-available, not open source as the OSI defines it: the
field-of-use limits in section 3 fail OSI criteria 5 and 6. It is described
here as an open SDK, never as OSI-approved or as an open-source licence, so the
distinction is not misrepresented to anyone reading it.
