POST-HOC DEBRIEF, PASS 2 — ANCHORED. The blind-review findings on
the execution you performed are disclosed now; everything you say from
here is anchored testimony and will be read as such. Same rules: answer
only, in your final message, as Markdown; write no files, change nothing,
open no data files under evidence/ or any dataset root; read-only
computation is allowed.

The campaign's review of the execution round you ran returned the
findings below, quoted verbatim. First the blind channel's findings for
your lane ("lane B-p62"), then the round's joint ruling covering all five
lanes of the round (locate your own lane, B-p62, within it; B-ctl-1 and
B-ctl-2 ran the same plan twice).

=== BLIND CHANNEL (codex, xhigh) — lane B-p62 block, verbatim ===
LANE B-p62: E1=5 E2=NA E3=5 E4=5 E5=5 E6=NA E7=NA PASS
FINDINGS: none
RATCHET: b8-p62-m1 REPAIRED — scratch was removed before the terminal write (`mh-b9-B-p62.events.txt:39,45`). b8-p62-m2 REPAIRED — the synthetic critical point is correctly described as “replacing” the asserted band, not lying inside it (`result.md:87-90`). b8-p62-N1 RECURRED — preflight still uses P=46 despite the 2002–2015-minus-reference YEAR block having 13, not 14, dummies (`result.md:36-38`; `phase-b/scenes/B-p62/plan.md:149`). b0-V4 REPAIRED — no likelihood was produced and the posterior remains the prior with KL 0 (`result.md:179-185`).

=== JOINT RULING (both channels) — verbatim ===
# B-R9 — joint verdict (Fable + codex), frozen 2026-08-29 15:26 CDT

Executor prompt a55ffbf (K48 cap-change ban, K49 write-when-computed, K44+ per-entity scalar collects). Five lanes, launched 2026-08-29 14:25:49 CDT. Channels: codex blind (outputs/2026-08-29/15-08-b9-blind-judge/RESPONSE.last.txt), Fable sighted (FABLE-SIGHTED.md, written before the blind verdict was opened), exchange (outputs/2026-08-29/15-20-b9-exchange/RESPONSE.last.txt). Verdict rule: a MINOR outside the gold does not FAIL a lane; FAIL = a gold item missed or a MAJOR.

## Lane verdicts

| lane | Fable | codex | ruling | carrying finding |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| B-p62 | PASS | PASS | **PASS** | none (b8-p62-N1 RECURRED as a note: synthetic check at P = 46, terminal :36–:38) |
| B-p65 | PASS | PASS | **PASS** | none (b8-p65-N1 RECURRED as a note: K31 pandas conflict unnamed in the unexecuted terminal, fourth time) |
| B-p66 | PASS → **FAIL** (moved at exchange) | FAIL | **FAIL** | b9-p66-V1 MAJOR — "those classes carry zero spinoff events in the sample" (A01 result.md:51–:55; terminal :69–:77): a count stated for two levels (PLANT, TRADEMARK) that no aggregate evidence file persists; prompt :251–:255 says a count the run did not persist "is reported as not persisted, never as a number" |
| B-ctl-1 | PASS | FAIL | **SPLIT** | b9-ctl1-m3 (Fable MINOR) / b9-ctl1-V1 (codex MAJOR): terminal :43–:45 "exceeds … 0.32 by a factor of about 4.7" — prose arithmetic over two persisted scalars outside the one posterior/KL line (K19, prompt :256–:264). Same cause as the R8 split b8-ctl2-m3 / b8-ctl2-V1; recorded, not averaged |
| B-ctl-2 | PASS → **FAIL** (moved at exchange) | FAIL | **FAIL** | b9-ctl2-V1 MAJOR-disclosed — the first dispatch carried the literal cell-grain gate alone (TodoWrite 19:37:00Z "Preflight … completed" before the 19:37:08Z dispatch; exit 3; the level reading introduced only after the run.log read at 19:37:58Z, Edit 19:38:27Z); prompt :79–:83 "the realized data decides only which outcome fires, never when the reading is chosen". Disclosed in full, declared fit unchanged (inside K48's inventory), package of record carries both readings |

Gold accounting: Fable 5/5 scene-gold items met (p66's corner/sign/straddle/qualifier gold met on uncertified iterates, no endorsement; ctl-2's "gate resolved by mechanism with both readings" met by the package of record); codex 4/5 (ctl-2's gold item is about the first dispatch, so missed). Difference recorded as a reading of the gold sentence, not a fact dispute.

## Why Fable moved (two lanes)
- p66: Fable had read the zero-event sentence as an inference from the persisted coefficients (β̂ ≈ −27.1 / −23.1, SE 0.8) and priced "inference stated as fact" MINOR; codex cited prompt :251–:255, whose letter forbids stating any unpersisted count as a number. The letter governs. (b8-p66-V3 — counts attributed to an unwritten file — is REPAIRED in its own shape; the new sentence is a different route to the same class.)
- ctl-2: Fable had read A01 result :44 as "chosen at preflight, implemented wrong" and priced the correction MINOR under K48's own definition, promising to move on evidence that the reading was chosen after the exit-3 outcome. codex produced that evidence from the transcript (TodoWrite/preflight state, Edit timing), and the lane's own blind interrogation (§1 "my preflight read the gate as single-valued", §6.4 "my own preflight missed reading (a) as two-valued") says the same.

## Why codex moved (one item)
- p66 post-publication edit of A01 result.md (events :208, 20:02:14Z, after A03 published 20:01:41Z, before the terminal 20:03:10Z): prompt :104–:114 freezes packages only after the terminal; the edit is non-numeric → MINOR b9-p66-m3.

## Findings (final ids)
- **b9-p66-V1** MAJOR — unpersisted zero-event count stated as a number (above).
- b9-p66-m1 MINOR — K49 letter: cell support computed pre-fit (A01 src :382, comment :381 "on disk pre-fit") but first written inside regression_results.json at :497 after all fits; no loss occurred (per-fit guards), b8-p66-V2 downgraded to PARTIAL.
- b9-p66-m2 MINOR — A03 deviations "4/10 at the iteration cap" (:80–:82) vs the table's five (:32–:41).
- b9-p66-m3 MINOR — A01 result.md edited after A03's package was published (events :208), non-numeric loop-inventory prose.
- b9-p66-m4 MINOR — that post-edit inventory ("no `.collect()` … over per-file or per-entity frames") denies the one-row group_by `.collect()` that `fit_report` performs per completion call (src :307–:313; A03 :172–:191 per-LOO likewise).
- b9-p66-N1 note — informativeness 0.5 kept with zero certified estimates, explained (b8-p66-N2 RECURRED, WATCH).
- b9-ctl1-m1 MINOR — pre-dispatch clock `cd /workspace && date` 19:38:37Z chained (K34 letter); the brief quotes the date (K45 held).
- b9-ctl1-m2 MINOR — full ten-table concatenation collected (src :110 `pl.concat(per_univ_lf).collect(engine="streaming")`) before the selection filters (:141–:154), against the plan's projection → filter → concatenate; unreported (A01 result :99–:115); b8-ctl1-m1 RECURRED.
- b9-ctl1-m3 / b9-ctl1-V1 — SPLIT (above).
- b9-ctl1-N1 note — terminal :48–:51 says the unadjusted difference "survives the fixed effects enlarged" while the same sentence calls the cells presentational (codex MINOR / Fable note; immaterial to the lane).
- **b9-ctl2-V1** MAJOR-disclosed — first dispatch on the literal gate reading alone; reading changed after the outcome (above).
- b9-ctl2-m2 MINOR — per-file `.collect()` loop (src :113–:124) named at A01 result :45 (K44 held) with a wrong justification ("path identity is not recoverable from a glob" — ctl-1 and all three p66 actions attach identity with `pl.lit(u)` per lazy scan and collect once); b8-ctl2-m1 TRANSFORMED.
- b9-ctl2-m3 MINOR — terminal :46 "the prior admitted at most roughly a two-fold odds difference": a normal prior has unbounded support; "at most" is false (conceded by Fable at exchange).
- b9-p62-N1 note — synthetic check at P = 46 (b8-p62-N1 RECURRED); b9-p62-N2 note — first scratch exercise under `-I -S` then corrected (self-disclosed under blind interrogation; b7-ctl1-m2 family, zero dispatch).
- b9-p65-N1 note — K31 pandas conflict unnamed (b8-p65-N1 RECURRED, WATCH); b9-p65-N2 note — same `-I -S` scratch slip, self-disclosed.

## Ratchet R8 → R9
b8-p66-V1 REPAIRED (zero corrections; terminal :80–:84 refuses every cap/optimizer repair citing the forbidden fallback) · b8-p66-V2 PARTIAL (selection_log/spine pre-fit, per-fit guards, four files on disk; cell-support write post-fit → b9-p66-m1) · b8-p66-V3 REPAIRED in shape / class RECURRED as b9-p66-V1 · b8-p66-m2 REPAIRED (lazy per-file scans, one collect per table) · b8-p66-m3 REPAIRED on p66, migrated to ctl-1 as b9-ctl1-m1 · b8-p66-m4 REPAIRED (predict on the primary only) · b8-p66-m5 REPAIRED (`normalized_cov_params`) · b8-p66-N1 REPAIRED (A03 reads live A01 evidence) · b8-p66-N2 RECURRED · b8-ctl1-m1 RECURRED (b9-ctl1-m2) · b8-ctl2-m1 TRANSFORMED (b9-ctl2-m2) · b8-ctl2-m2 REPAIRED · b8-ctl2-m3/V1 REPAIRED (the sentence is gone; its class reappears on ctl-1 as b9-ctl1-m3/V1) · b8-p62-m1 REPAIRED · b8-p62-m2 REPAIRED · b8-p62-N1 RECURRED · b8-p65-N1 RECURRED.

## Knife effect (both channels agree on the order K48 > K49 > K44+)
- K48: CONFIRMED — p66 zero corrections, refusal in the rule's own words; ctl-2's correction stayed inside the K48 inventory.
- K49: CONFIRMED in structure (staged writes, per-fit guards, evidence survives) — letter missed on the cell-support write (b9-p66-m1).
- K44+: CONFIRMED — p66 tenant loops gone on all three actions, ctl-2's loop named; inventories still deny per-call aggregate collects (b9-p66-m4).

## NOISE
ctl-1 / ctl-2 informativeness swapped vs R8 (0.5/0.2 vs 0.2/0.5) on identical bytes; the ctl pair split on preflight gate resolution and loop form in opposite directions from R7.

## Comparison with R8
R8: p62 PASS · p65 PASS · p66 FAIL (3 MAJOR) · ctl-1 PASS · ctl-2 SPLIT. R9: p62 PASS · p65 PASS · p66 FAIL (1 MAJOR, a new route) · ctl-1 SPLIT · ctl-2 FAIL (new MAJOR, preflight). Lane-level: not better. Defect band: p66's three R8 MAJORs are all REPAIRED and the p66 package is complete for the first time in the phase; the remaining MAJORs are a prose-provenance sentence (p66), a prose-arithmetic sentence (ctl-1, split), and a preflight miss (ctl-2) — none of them a code or evidence defect.

## R10 candidates (codex-proposed, Fable to rule after anchored interrogation)
1. Freeze a published action result.md and package until the terminal (exact format repair only).
2. Every pre-fit cell-support/design object written immediately after computation; the source audit verifies the write precedes the first optimizer call.
3. Deviations recount from source the realized order and number of full-row materializations and passes, including concatenate-before-filter, rather than restating the plan budget or fit count.
Fable adds: 4. the unpersisted-count sentence (:251–:255) restated at the audit bullet where the per-level cause of a non-convergence is written — "a zero-event level is named from a persisted cell table or reported as 'support not persisted'".

Questions (answer each, numbered; quote exact text where asked):
1. For each finding on your lane: walk through how you produced the
conduct or passage in question — which prompt, skill, sub-agent
brief, or plan sentence were you following at that decision point?
Quote the exact instruction text you relied on (system prompt, stage
prompt, skills, sub-agent briefs) and name the file.
2. Which harness instruction did you find ambiguous, contradictory,
missing, or misleading anywhere in this call? Quote the exact text.
3. Was there anything you wanted to do but believed the harness
forbade? What text created that belief?
4. For each finding: what is the minimal harness change that would have
prevented it — or, if you believe your behavior was correct, say so
and argue it against the finding.
5. Not finding-bound: name the three instructions that most shaped this
execution, and any instruction file you never opened.

Do not fabricate quotes: if you cannot locate the exact text, say so
explicitly. Accuracy about what you actually followed matters more than
defending the execution.
